Reporting to: Plant Engineer,
Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd plays a key role in marketing of its member’s milk which is processed and packed in form of pouch packed fresh milk, Tetra Classic fresh milk, lala, butter, ghee, cream and Fresha purified water under the flagship of “Fresha Dairy Brands”.
Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd vision is to be a world class producer of dairy brands while the Mission is to offer high quality dairy brands to our consumers efficiently for stakeholder’s value maximization.
The society invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacant position.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and effect measures to ensure optimum operation efficiency of all equipment
- Ensure availability of machinery and equipment for production at optimum effective cost.
- Ensure effective control of utilities and accountability of the same.
- Fully participate in the supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of machinery, equipment and buildings
- Ensure effective control of spare parts and working tools.
- Train, guide and evaluation of supervisors and technicians
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bsc degree in Mechanical Plant or Electrical Engineering
- A higher diploma in electrical or mechanical plant operations is an added advantage
- At least 5 years in a similar position preferably in a food Industry.
- Practical technical experience in a busy manufacturing set up for at least 5 years.
- Must be self-driven
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
