Our client seeking a talented and motivated Django Developer to join our team. As a Django Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our Django-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building high-quality software that delivers exceptional results and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Django-based web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Knowledge of asynchronous requests, partial page updates, web sockets, and server-side events
- Ensure the application is optimized for performance, scalability, and security
- Test and debug code to ensure high-quality software releases
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Django framework updates and advancements
Requirements:
- Proficient in the core principles of computer science
- At least 1 year of experience with Django framework and related technologies
- Strong knowledge of Python and related technologies
- Experience with Git and version control practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of programming Point of Sales (POS) is a plus
