We are looking for a highly driven and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee and scale day-to-day operations across multiple Chipoz outlets.
This is a field-based role requiring someone who thrives on the ground — managing teams, solving problems in real time, and ensuring consistent execution across all branches.
You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, enforcing SOPs, and building a high-performance team culture as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all Chipoz outlets
- Ensure consistency in product quality, speed, and customer experience
- Troubleshoot operational issues in real time
SOP Implementation & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to cooking, hygiene, and service SOPs
- Continuously monitor and improve execution standards
- Conduct regular audits across branches
Team Management
- Manage, supervise, and motivate branch staff
- Handle scheduling, discipline, and performance management
- Build a strong, accountable team culture
Training & Onboarding
- Lead onboarding of new staff across locations
- Conduct regular training sessions to maintain standards
- Identify skill gaps and implement improvement plans
Performance Monitoring
- Track branch performance (sales, wastage, efficiency, customer feedback)
- Work closely with leadership to improve KPIs
- Implement operational improvements to drive growth
Expansion Support
- Support new outlet launches and setup
- Ensure smooth rollout of systems, processes, and training
Ideal Candidate
- 3–6+ years experience in QSR, F&B, or retail operations
- Experience managing multiple outlets or teams
- Extremely hands-on and proactive — not a desk role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and execution
- Comfortable working flexible hours and moving between locations
- Based in Nairobi
