Harton Grange Academy, Eldoret, is seeking a passionate and committed Year 2 Maternity Cover Teacher for a temporary 3-month (90 days). Join our dynamic and supportive school community, where you’ll inspire young minds and foster a love of learning in a nurturing environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational and Experience
- B.Ed. degree (Primary Option), Early Childhood Education, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
- Must have at least 1 year of Experience teaching an international curriculum.
Commitment to Learning and Development
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for professional growth and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for working with young children (ages 5-11)
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic classroom environments.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with young learners and support their social-emotional development.
Cultural Competency
- Awareness of or willingness to learn culturally responsive teaching practices to support diverse student populations in an international school environment.
- Ability to adapt to multicultural classroom settings and community.
