Key Responsibilities

• Theoretical and practical instructions in the area of specialization, preparing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plan, lessons note, trainee records, teaching and learning materials, carrying out trainee assessment
• Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tool and equipment.
• Conducting and organizing co-curricular activities.
• Maintaining trainee’s discipline and guiding and counseling trainees.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma certificate in any of the following trades; electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, clothing, fashion and design and textile technology, food and beverage ,refrigeration and air –conditioning, building and construction, hairdressing and beauty therapy, instrument and controls engineering, civil engineering, computer studies, ct and maritime transport and logistics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Pedagogical skills from kstvet (former kttc) will be added advantage
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution and;
• Minimum of three years practical experience in the relevant trade area.
