Dignitas seeks to engage specialist consultants to enhance LeadNow platform in
alignment with learning science best practices, user-centered design principles, and
engaging multimedia experiences. The consultants will work collaboratively with our
internal team (Learning Design and Innovation, product, R&D (Research and
Development) and contracted developers to deliver high-impact learning, improved
user experience, and scalable content formats.
Responsibilities
- Mastery-Based Learning Logic: Define thresholds, retry rules, scaffolding for at least 5 key assessments.
- Competency Mapping: Map all 10 targeted teacher competencies to content and assessments.
- Remediation Pathways: Tag minimum 80% of existing content; create up to 10 new remediation micro-resources.
- Personalized Feedback: Draft targeted feedback for at least 50 priority assessment questions.
- Branching Scenarios: Develop 3 fully mapped branching narratives with decision trees and outcomes.
- Microlearning Formats: Recommend formats for all new How-To guides to be interactive.
- Interactive Alignment: Review and suggest improvements for at least 15 interactive elements (popups, callouts).
- Flow Optimization: Break down 100% of long videos (>3 mins) into segments with integrated Check for understanding (CFUs)
- Iterations: Up to 2 full feedback/revision cycles per deliverable.
- User Testing: Participate in 1 round of SME-led user testing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Curriculum Development, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning sciences— specifically in digital learning contexts, e-learning development, or teacher training platforms.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) and adaptive learning models.
- Experience with EdTech tools and LMS environments (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Moodle).
- Familiarity with Kenyan curriculum frameworks (e.g., MoE, CBC, KICD).
- Demonstrated portfolio of scenario-based learning, mastery logic design, or remediation pathways.
- Strong writing, review, and collaborative communication skills.
