Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field, with mandatory CHRP certification and active membership with IHRM.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare environment with strong knowledge of employment laws and clinical compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and multitasking abilities, able to manage recruitment, contracts, and training under pressure with confidentiality and empathy.
- Compliance: High proficiency in regulatory and policy adherence, with the ability to resolve staff welfare issues, support clinical teams, and maintain rigorous credentialing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- People Operations & Compliance: Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and staff credential verification while maintaining accurate personnel files and ensuring all clinical and non-clinical staff meet regulatory and audit compliance.
- Performance, Engagement & Welfare Support: Drive employee engagement, administer performance cycles, and address staff inquiries, welfare concerns, and disciplinary matters with timely, fair, and confidential resolution.
- Policy Advisory & Regulatory Alignment: Guide management and staff on HR policies and labour laws while ensuring HR processes align with healthcare regulations, clinical governance, and quality-of-care standards.
