Responsibilities

• Designing, installing, repairing and maintaining related equipment in the area of specialization.
• Offer technical support in workshops and participate in day-to-day workshop activities.
• Prepare learning materials, carry out instructions and guide learners during lessons.
• Observe and ensure health and safety procedures are practiced and enforced and accident reported to the section head
• Prepare maintenance schedule for all workshop equipment for approval by section head and maintain requisite records on servicing schedule on various equipment and machinery to ensure the schedule is adhered to.
• Keep inventory of all tools and equipment.
• Offer technical support in workshops and participate in day-to-day workshop activities.
• Supervise cleaning of the workshops to promote general cleanliness of the workshop and equipment and provide conducive environment for trainings and practical.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in the area of specialization (building and civil engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or closely related discipline from a recognized institution)
• One-year working experience or internship in a learning sector.
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
