2. Focus on Impact, Not Time Served
Yes, you’ve been working a long time. But guess what? That’s not your advantage.
Your wins are, what did you fix? What did you improve? What systems did you build that saved time or made money?
Focus on, problems you solved, revenue or costs you impacted, processes you improved
Instead of saying you worked from 1995 to 2013, highlight the roles you had and the results you delivered.

Older roles? You can still mention them. Just group them under a section like:

6. Show, don’t just list
Saying “excellent communicator” means nothing. Showing how you led a cross-functional team during a product launch and kept everyone aligned?
That says everything. Use this simple formula: Challenge → Action → Result
