Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pupil role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. We are looking for a highly motivated and eager pupil to learn and support the advocates while being exposed to practical training and mentorship in diverse areas of legal practice.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and briefs.
- Draft pleadings, agreements, contracts, and legal correspondence.
- Assist advocates in court attendance client meetings, and transactions.
- File management, document reviews, and compliance-related tasks.
- Attend to court registries and land registries.
- Any other duties reasonably assigned in support of legal service delivery.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Holder of an LL.B degree from a recognised university.
- Undergoing or has undergone the Advocates Training Programme.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced legal environment.
