Position: Pharmaceutical Technologist
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Reports to: Pharmacist

Role Summary
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will support the Pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, stock management, and patient interaction. This role is critical in ensuring efficient workflow, accurate dispensing, and excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications
- Provide basic medication guidance to patients, reinforcing adherence and usage instructions
- Support inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, storage, and tracking
- Maintain proper documentation of dispensed medicines and stock records
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of pharmaceuticals
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
- Monitor stock levels and flag potential stock-outs or expiries
- Support implementation of SOPs and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), Kenya
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a hospital or busy pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems or EMRs is an added advantage
