Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and presented according to the hotel’s high standards. The position involves supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating daily operations, and addressing guest needs promptly to enhance their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors or areas.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, amenities, and equipment.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues with the engineering department.
• Ensure all your cushions and forms are up to standard.

Staff Supervision and Coordination

• Assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring timely completion of duties.
• Train and mentor team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with front desk and other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests.

Guest Relations

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain high visibility on the floor to ensure guest satisfaction and handle any immediate concerns.

Administrative Duties

• Prepare daily reports on room status, maintenance needs, and housekeeping activities.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
