Team Leaders (Agrifinance) -Silibwet Job Platinum Credit

Looking for a finance job in Kenya? Platinum Credit is hiring Team Leaders (Agrifinance) skilled in agribusiness loan portfolio management, sales team leadership, credit risk assessment, and market outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Performance: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Agrifinance field officers to meet and exceed monthly disbursement and collection targets.
• Portfolio Growth: Implement strategic sales and marketing plans to expand the company’s agricultural loan portfolio within the assigned region.
• Credit Administration & Risk Management: Evaluate loan applications for creditworthiness, ensure adherence to the company’s lending policies, and actively monitor the portfolio to maintain low non-performing loans (NPLs).
• Market & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with farmers, agricultural cooperatives, agro-dealers, and other key agricultural value chain actors.
• Reporting: Prepare regular performance, market intelligence, and portfolio quality reports for management review.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in microfinance or banking, specifically within agricultural lending or asset financing.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of local agricultural cycles, agribusiness dynamics, and the specific geographical areas listed.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and strong problem-solving capabilities.
