About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to support our online presence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, storytelling, and digital engagement, and wants hands-on experience managing real organizational accounts.
You will help shape how Emundu communicates with its audience, clients, and partners across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and schedule our Social Media posts (announcements, reflections, opportunities, updates)
- Respond to basic inquiries and messages from potential clients or collaborators
- Help refine captions, replies, and comments to keep messaging professional and engaging
- Support content planning (what to post, when, and why)
- Occasionally assist with simple visuals or coordinate with the team on content ideas
- Maintain brand tone and consistency across posts
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong written communication skills (especially professional English)
- Comfortable using LinkedIn & Instagram (experience with Facebook is a plus)
- Organized, reliable, and able to meet light deadlines
- Interest in social impact, research, mental health, education, or development work
- Students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals are welcome
