AMREF Nyumbani Housing Cooperative (ANHC) is a housing cooperative that was registered under the Cooperatives Act (CAP 490) in 2018. Our primary goal is to provide and facilitate access to affordable and quality housing, primarily to our members and by extension to non-members for whom home ownership is a top priority. ANHC is a member of the national umbrella union, the National Cooperative Housing Union (NACHU).

Role Purpose:

We are looking to engage a proactive and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the local property market, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and passionate about real estate. S/he will showcase our available properties and manage customer relationships to ensure that sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain clients, e.g. through calls, site visits, email correspondence, presentations etc.
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Make appointments or on leads assigned, and follow up to close sales.
• Engage and maintain client relationships, making customers to various properties and showcase them in a positive and professional light.
• Maintain regular communication to retain relationships, respond to queries and provide updates to clients on new projects and property information.
• Offer professional advice on property selection based on client needs, as well as legal requirements and related processes.
• Conduct follow-ups with existing and potential clients.
• Make frequent visits to the sites as may be necessary.
• Showcase properties, and coordinate viewing activities to potential clients while forming positive business relationships with them.
• Negotiate business terms, and closing deals on behalf of the ANHC.
• Mapping and identifying new opportunities for partnerships.
• Maintain accurate data and all the necessary documentation.
• Stay updated on real estate market trends, property values and other players in the market.
• Prepare reports on marketing performance and sales metrics.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
• Coordinate the development of promotional materials, including brochures and online listings.
• Analyze market trends and sharing with the Board.
• Draft and finalize marketing reports and share with the Board

Key Performance Indicators

• Number of new buyers/sellers converted
• Number units/property sold or leased within a given period.
• Average price of properties sold, indicating market positioning.
• Web Traffic: Number of visitors to the ANHC website.
• Social Media Engagement: Likes, shares, and comments on social media posts related to listings or market insights. Revenue targets achieved
• Increase in repeat customers

Reporting

Qualifications and Skills:

• Possess at least a diploma in Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the real estate or property sector.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, creative, and results-driven with the ability to meet targets with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, brand management, and client relationship skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital marketing tools.

Working Conditions:

• 8am – 4.30 pm working hours
• May work for extended hours and on weekends depending on booked site visits.
• Salary undisclosed plus commission
