Public Communication & Media Relations Officer II Job

Basic Salary Kshs. – 33,900
House Allowance – 7,500
Commuter Allowance – 4,000
Leave Allowance – 4,000 (Payable once in a Year)
Mortgage & Car Loan – As per SRC guidelines

  • Keeping calendars (editorial, press conferences, events etc.) and media lists;
  • Assisting in organizing and execution of events;
  • Conducting research to support Public Relations planning;
  • Drafting and distributing content such as newsletters and releases;
  • Editing videos and presentations as assigned;
  • Supporting relations with stakeholders, such as the media and vendors;
  • Assisting in tracking media coverage or PR metrics such as web analytics;
  • Inventing ways to streamline communication and plan execution; and
  • Undertaking general administrative and clerical duties.
  • Diploma in Public Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; and
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognised institution.

  • copies of relevant academic and professional certificates;
  • a copy of the national Identity Card or passport;
  • an updated curriculum vitae and other relevant testimonials;
  • Commission for University Education (CUE) accreditation of a Diploma/Degree/Post-graduate Diploma/Post-graduate Certificate conferred by a foreign university/institution.
