Location: Nairobi

Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily production activities within the stationery manufacturing division to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within quality standards, and at optimal cost levels

  • Plan and manage production schedules to meet output and quality targets.
  • Supervise and coordinate production staff, ensuring discipline, performance, and teamwork.
  • Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and resources for smooth operations.
  • Liaise with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to reduce downtime and waste.
  • Enforce adherence to SOPs, quality, and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor machine performance, material usage, and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
  • Train and guide employees on production procedures, quality, and safety practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the production floor.
  • Champion implementation of manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), 6S, SMED, visual management, and waste reduction programs.
  • Drive reduction of material wastage and process variation through continuous monitoring and corrective actions.
  • Diploma/Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Production and Operations Management, Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in stationery, packaging, or related manufacturing.
  • Practical experience with stationery production machines (binding, cutting, ruling, printing, gluing, etc.).
