Job Overview
As a Procurement Manager at Gamezon Space Corporation, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the procurement processes for our e-commerce operations. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing, and optimizing procurement strategies to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels across all product categories.
- Collaborate with other departments including logistics, finance, and marketing to streamline operations and enhance procurement efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and adapt procurement strategies to mitigate risk and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in procurement software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Experience with sustainability practices in procurement.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
