Role Description
As a Marketing Intern at TuConnect, you’ll work closely with our Business Development team to support growth marketing efforts. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in campaign planning, digital content creation (including short-form video), market research, and analytics. You’ll help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness within the Kenyan market and possibly beyond. Ideal for someone who’s creative, data-driven, and eager to grow in a startup environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with social media and content creation
- Interest in digital/growth marketing and analytics
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in marketing or content creation (academic, volunteer, or internship)
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, or CRM tools
- Video editing or visual content skills
- Understanding of digital ad platforms and CMS
- Passion for startups and innovation
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. However, upon successful completion of the program, the intern will receive complimentary access to TuConnect’s premium platform features for up to 3 months as a token of appreciation and continued career support.
