Laboratory Technologist- Nairobi Job AAR Healthcare

Overall purpose of the job: Reporting to the Laboratory In-Charge, the incumbent will be responsible for performing laboratory-based scientific medical investigations to provide laboratory diagnosis.

Key responsibilities:
- Registration, collection and processing of client samples within the limits of specific tests
- Communication of laboratory results to the internal and external customers
- Maintain high standards of quality laboratory practice by the use of proper reagents, well-calibrated machines, and a clean working environment
- Observe efficient usage of reagents, glassware and equipment
- Preparation of laboratory reports
- Participation in internal QC programmes and logging in the appropriate registers
Position requirements and other competencies:
- A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science
- Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
- At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions
- ICT competency
- Excellent customer service
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Pleasant personality
