Join our customer’s dynamic team as an Industrial Engineer – AI Trainer, where your specialized expertise in optimizing industrial processes will directly shape next-generation artificial intelligence systems. In this fully remote role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), training and refining AI models to ensure alignment with real-world industry standards and best practices. This unique opportunity allows you to work collaboratively while influencing the future of AI-driven industrial solutions.

  • Collaborate with AI development teams to train, validate, and enhance AI models focused on industrial engineering concepts and applications.
  • Analyze and annotate industrial engineering datasets to boost relevance and precision of AI-powered solutions.
  • Deliver clear, technical feedback on process optimization, production planning, supply chain management, and operational efficiency tasks.
  • Review AI-generated outputs for technical correctness, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Identify gaps in training data, recommend high-quality data sources, and ensure accurate annotations for continuous model improvement.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on process improvement methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, and cutting-edge industrial technologies.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively in both written and verbal formats to diverse audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or closely related field, OR 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in process improvement, production systems, quality management, operations research, or logistics optimization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret process maps, schematics, statistical data, and technical documentation.
  • Experience in workflow optimization, supply chain analysis, or manufacturing systems in roles such as Process Engineer, Operations Engineer, Quality Engineer, or Industrial Analyst.
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital collaboration tools and thriving in remote work settings.
  • Analytical mindset coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in AI model training, data annotation, or machine learning projects.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and data-driven technologies in industrial engineering contexts.
  • Advanced certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Supply Chain Optimization.
