  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in hospital management.

Financial Management

  • Manage the hospital’s financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle, and cost control.
  • Ensure proper financial reporting, compliance with financial procedures, and prudent resource utilization.
  • Monitor performance KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure financial sustainability.

Human Resource & Leadership

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to departmental heads and staff.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer-centric service.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, staff welfare, and retention initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the hospital complies with Kenyan healthcare regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance systems, patient safety protocols, and risk management processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies such as KMPDC, NHIF, NEMA, and other healthcare agencies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with patients, suppliers, insurers, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the hospital in external forums, partnerships, and public relations initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and handle escalated concerns professionally.

Infrastructure & Technology Management

  • Oversee facility maintenance, equipment procurement, and technological upgrades.
  • Ensure hospital infrastructure meets safety, operational, and clinical standards.

  • Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or any related field
  • A Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related) is an added advantage
  • Over 10 years of senior management experience in healthcare or hospital administration
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, operations management, and organizational leadership
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan healthcare ecosystem, standards, and regulations
