Purpose for the Job

The Frontend Software Developer role will focus on building scalable and efficient applications using Typescript. They will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core systems and applications.

Duties and Responsiblities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Typescript, React Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up to date and implement the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Key Result Areas

• Design the user interface of the software as per business requirements.
• Development of the software as per business requirements.
• Testing and showcasing software developed with business end users.
• Deploying the software to production and ensuring backup and disaster recovery protocols are observed.
• Maintenance of the software post implementation to ensure stability and improvements.

Key Competencies

• 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer.
• Proficiency in Typescript, React.js framework, UmiJS, Ant Design and redux.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubeetes).
• Experience with Figma is an added advantage.
• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and UI / UX best practices.
• Proficiency working with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and improve existing code.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset.

Knowledge And Skills Required

Professional and Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
