Job Summary

The Executive Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, inventory management, and staff supervision, while ensuring high culinary standards and cost efficiency.

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency in food preparation.
  • Maintain high culinary standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals for restaurants, banquets, and events.
  • Monitor food cost, labor cost, and kitchen budgets.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Oversee inventory management and reduce food wastage.
  • Work closely with F&B and service teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ culinary experience in a 4–5 star hotel.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP.
  • Creative and innovative with strong menu development skills.

Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
