As a Chief Accountant, you will oversee end‑to‑end financial accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial governance. The role supports the Finance Manager by providing timely financial reports, strengthening internal controls, guiding the accounting team, and driving continuous process improvement. You will play a key leadership role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee full financial reporting cycles—monthly, quarterly, and annual.
- Ensure accurate general ledger management, reconciliations, payables/receivables, payroll oversight, and cash management.
- Maintain statutory compliance, tax accuracy, audit readiness, and adherence to accounting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for business performance insights.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure efficiency and accountability.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and optimization of financial systems.
- Act as deputy to the finance manager and participate in strategic planning and cross‑functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (required).
- Experience in International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) will be an added advantage.
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements.
- High proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
