- Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking to recruit a Business Development Officer to drive market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our client base across key markets.
- The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Experience with CRM systems, proposal writing, and tender preparation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and prepare reports.
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and proactive problem-solver.
Key Competencies:
- Conduct market research to identify new customers, markets, and business trends.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Prepare and customize sales proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support sales conversion, negotiation of sales quotations, negotiations, and follow-ups.
- Track competitor activities and provide insights for strategic decisions.
- Attend sales meetings, networking events, expos, and client engagements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Represent the company in exhibitions, events, and networking forums.
