  • Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking to recruit a Business Development Officer to drive market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our client base across key markets.
  • The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes.
  • Experience with CRM systems, proposal writing, and tender preparation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and prepare reports.
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and proactive problem-solver.

Key Competencies:

  • Conduct market research to identify new customers, markets, and business trends.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.
  • Prepare and customize sales proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales conversion, negotiation of sales quotations, negotiations, and follow-ups.
  • Track competitor activities and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  • Attend sales meetings, networking events, expos, and client engagements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Represent the company in exhibitions, events, and networking forums.
