Banqueting & Sales Coordinator Job Sarova Hotels Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a motivated hospitality professional with a passion for sales, events, and guest service excellence. The role involves driving conference and banqueting business, managing client relationships, and coordinating seamless events in line with Sarova standards. Ideal for someone who enjoys turning enquiries into successful business opportunities and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow banqueting and conference accounts
• Drive sales through client engagement, presentations and site inspections
• Coordinate events from enquiry through to execution
• Ensure accurate documentation (proposals, contracts, BEOs, diaries)
• Monitor revenue performance and prepare reports Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Maintain strong client relationships and repeat business pipelines

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field Sales & Marketing qualification is an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in hotel sales, banqueting or events coordination Proficiency in POS System and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of hospitality operations Core Competencies Revenue generation & commercial awareness
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Attention to detail & operational accuracy
• Strong communication & client relationship management ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Decision-making and problem-solving ability flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
