Looking for a quality control job in Kenya? Spiro is hiring an Assistant Manager, Process Quality, skilled in quality assurance standards, operational process optimization, compliance monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
Spiro Energy is seeking an Assistant Manager – Process Quality to lead incoming quality assurance for EV and battery manufacturing. Reporting to the HOD-QA, this role ensures compliance with ISO standards, drives continual improvement, and champions quality across production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and audit Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
- Ensure calibration of QA equipment and accurate reporting of quality issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce failures/warranty claims
- Drive productivity and quality improvement projects
- Manage and train QA staff, fostering teamwork and performance excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering
- 2+ years in production, maintenance, or quality roles
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, continual improvement systems, and QA practices
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP QM knowledge is an added advantage
