About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and experienced Van Sales Manager (VSM) to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate is a passionate sales professional with proven experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in the distribution and sale of alcoholic beverages. She should possess excellent customer relationship skills, strong market knowledge, and the ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Promote and sell the company’s beverage portfolio to retail, wholesale, and hospitality customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and onboarding new accounts.
- Execute route plans effectively to maximize market coverage and sales opportunities.
- Monitor stock levels, product availability, and merchandising standards within assigned territories.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
- Gather and report market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the alcoholic beverages industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of route-to-market strategies and territory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
