About The Internship

  • We are seeking graduates who are based in the counties listed below to join our 3-month Support Internship, with the possibility of contract extension based on performance and project requirements.
  • Interns will begin with structured pre-deployment training facilitated by Mezzanine, covering farmer and livestock registration, voucher issuance and redemption, as well as system troubleshooting and escalation procedures. Following training, they will be seconded to County Government and aligned with County ICT teams, working closely with Animal Health Assistants (AHAs) and Veterinary Surgeons to support system rollout and vaccination launch preparation. This includes verifying system configurations, confirming paybill setup and voucher creation, ensuring users are created, and validating farmer uploads before communicating confirmed launch dates.
  • During field operations, interns will attend vaccination launches, monitor voucher redemption progress, and identify operational or system-related challenges. They will troubleshoot first-level issues, escalate unresolved matters to Mezzanine’s second-line support team, and provide regular updates to County ICT and Veterinary teams. Throughout the programme, interns will track field insights, report on system performance in weekly meetings, and ensure stakeholders are informed once issues are resolved.
  • In addition, interns will conduct or coordinate user training in line with project plans, collecting feedback to improve training effectiveness, and ensuring training surveys are distributed.

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business Information Technology, or currently pursuing a degree in one of these fields or another related ICT discipline from a recognized institution.
