Sheria Sacco Society Limited wishes to recruit competent individuals to fill the position of Sales Executives. This position will be based in Kisumu Office (Current residents of Kisumu County preferred or anyone willing to relocate with ease) Term: Fixed Term one (1) year contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance on appraisal.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the purpose of the job is to grow the business by recruiting members and selling Sheria Sacco products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and member needs.
- Present, promote, and sell Society products or services to both new and existing clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while providing transparent and accurate information to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective sales goals and share best practices.
- Monitor market competition and provide market feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
- Keep accurate and organized records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
- Provide timely and responsive customer support to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Participate in sales and product training programs to stay updated on Society offerings.
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to network and promote the Society’s products and services.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials, including brochures and presentations.
- Stay current with industry knowledge and trends to provide informed product advice.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing / Co-operative Management/Business Management or any other Business Related course.
- Presentable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aggressive with good networking skills d) Proven ability to close sales deals and achieve targets.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing in a busy institution, preferably a financial Institution or insurance.
