As part of Private Collection, Kenya’s group of exclusive, privately owned luxury boutique hotels and lodges, we operate as an urban nature resort, wildlife sanctuary, and business retreat hub in Eldoret.

We are looking for a Sales Executive who understands that hospitality is more than a transaction. You are someone who can hold a seamless conversation with a corporate client in the morning, represent our brand at a trade show in the afternoon, and close the day with a thoughtful client report, all with the same quiet confidence. Sitting at the intersection of sales, marketing, and guest experience, you will build strategic partnerships, strengthen brand presence, and help more people find their way to a place that genuinely surprises them.

  • Drive Action Plans: Implement targeted sales action plans aligned with Private Collection guidelines and resort management direction.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the resort at trade shows, business expos, and industry events, including booth setup and product demonstrations.
  • Target and Revenue Growth: Set and execute monthly and annual sales targets, and analyze market competition to up-sell leisure, spa, and F&B offerings.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, track competitor activity, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with media houses for publicity, and prepare monthly client contracts aligned with current pricing structures.
  • Social Media Management: Create platform-specific content and manage strategies for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including scheduling and community engagement.
  • Brand Monitoring: Monitor online presence and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a highly brand-aligned manner.
  • Reputation and Crisis Care: Develop and implement a crisis communication framework for managing online feedback and customer concerns.
  • Guest Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact to handle inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring a premium guest experience.
  • The Bridge: An ability to move between corporate and leisure environments with ease and professionalism.
  • Relationship Builders: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural knack for building trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Discretion: A high level of ethical conduct and discretion in handling sensitive business information.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and the grit to handle pressure, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of active experience in sales, marketing, or a related role within hospitality or tourism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
