Sales Developer- Malindi Job Kenafric

The Sales Developer will support KBBL’s distributors to grow secondary sales and availability of Steam Energy Drink across a defined coastal territory (Malindi). Working closely with distributor teams and the Country Sales Manager, the Sales Developer will design and implement superior route plans, coach and ride routes with DSRs, execute trade promotions and launches, collect market intelligence, and drive measurable improvements in distribution, onshelf availability and secondary sales performance.
Jey Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to improve product availability and visibility.
- Identify and engage major wholesalers to ensure consistent product availability.
- Support Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) in prioritizing product sales.
- Conduct regular meetings with DSRs to align on sales strategies.
- Maintain recommended stock levels with distributors.
- Assist in launching new products for effective market penetration.
- Implement marketing activities and promotions to attract secondary customers.
- Share timely sales reports and performance metrics.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence for strategy development
Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or any other business-related course.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
Key Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in both English and Kiswahili
- Previous experience in FMCG sales and distribution, preferably in the beverage sector (2+years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
