Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safari Planner based in Nairobi County, Kenya. As a Safari Planner, you will coordinate safari travel plans, create tailored itineraries, and liaise with clients to ensure their needs and preferences are met. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include guiding customers through travel options, working with local service providers, handling bookings, and resolving customer queries. Attention to detail and a deep understanding of East African safari destinations will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in travel planning, customer service, and coordination
• Knowledge of East African tourism destinations, safari logistics, and experiences
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and client relationship management expertise
• Organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Experience in sales or hospitality management is a plus
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Kiswahili or other local languages is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Nairobi County and familiarity with East African cultures
