Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Coach at The East African University, located in Nairobi County, Kenya.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in coaching, understanding of sports techniques, and ability to design performance-enhancing training programs.
- Strong mentorship skills to guide student-athletes in building discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute effective practices and game-day strategies.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills to inspire and connect with athletes.
- Knowledge of injury prevention, fitness standards, and safety protocols in athletic training.
- Educational qualifications in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related fields are preferred.
- Experience coaching team or individual sports at the secondary or tertiary level is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Kenyan sports regulations and league systems is a plus.
