Kirima Slopes Dairy Cooperative Society Ltd is a dynamic and growing Cooperative committed to delivering high-quality dairy products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance. We are seeking to recruit a competent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems and procedures in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Conduct routine quality checks on raw milk and finished dairy products.
• Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across the processing plant.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO, and KEBS requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Train staff on quality and food safety standards where necessary.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a dairy processing or food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000) is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
