Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Print Production Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that printed materials are finished, packaged perfectly, and prepared for our clients. This is a physical, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in quality control, and keeps a workspace organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with post-press duties including cutting, folding, collating, laminating, and binding printed materials.
• Carefully count, sort, wrap, and box finished print jobs according to order specifications to ensure safe transit.
• Inspect printed and finished products for defects before packaging.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production floor by clearing debris, organizing stock, and safely disposing of waste materials.
• Help load and unload paper stock, inks, and packaging supplies. Assist press operators with setting up or clearing machinery as needed.
• Label boxes accurately and assist with preparing shipments or staging orders for client pickup.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a print shop, warehouse, fulfillment center, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive manual tasks (folding, packing).
• Strong eye for accuracy to catch spelling, color, or cutting errors before products reach the client.
• A positive attitude with the ability to take direction, work efficiently under tight deadlines, and collaborate well with designers and press operators.
• Ability to quickly count items, verify quantities, and read measurements/rulers accurately.
