Future Kenya is seeking motivated IT professionals to join our team as Programmers and Web Developers. In this role, you will contribute to live business systems and gain hands-on experience with .NET, C#, SQL, ERP platforms, and enterprise applications. We provide structured onboarding, mentorship, and clear career progression to help you grow into a full-time developer role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET, C#, and SQL with a backend focus.
- Support ERP and business management software, applying accounting concepts where relevant.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and gather requirements.
- Apply knowledge of the .NET Framework, SQL Server, and IIS in system development, debugging, and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient code and contribute to testing, documentation, and system upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, and SQL, with hands‑on exposure preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong logical thinking, problem‑solving, and debugging ability.
- Clear communication skills for technical and business audiences.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, showing initiative and reliability.
- Based in Nairobi and available for structured onboarding.
- Willing to accept a stipend during the 3–6-month onboarding/probation period, with salary progression tied to performance under Future Kenya’s Employee Progression & Evaluation Framework.
- Ideal for early-career IT professionals (typically aged 22–28) seeking to build a career in programming and web development, with progression into ERP and enterprise application development.

- Performance evaluated on reliability, learning progress, and client support.
