Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Great clients and assist them with enquiries.
- Provide product information and guide clients on purchases.
- Handle complaints or direct them to the appropriate supervisor.
Stock Management
- Restock shelves and display areas as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses.
- Organize stock in a neat, logical manner for easy access.
Store Cleanliness and Organization
- Maintain cleanliness in the store including shelves, floors, and counters.
- Ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
- Remove expired or damaged items from shelves.
Sales Support
- Operate the cash register and process payments (if required).
- Assist in setting up promotions, displays, and signage.
- Upsell or recommend complementary products to clients.
Safety
- Ensure safety standards are observed, including proper placement of items.
- Help with opening and closing procedures of the store.
Receiving Deliveries
- Accept and check deliveries against invoices.
- Unpack and arrange new stock appropriately.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
Record Keeping and Reporting
Keep daily records of sales, stock movement, or customer feedback.
