Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expertise & Development: Develop a deep understanding of the Nairobi and surrounding markets, identifying new business opportunities and driving the development of new clients and market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients, effectively communicating company policies, product information, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Sales & Distribution Oversight: Monitor and manage client orders, optimize van distribution routes, actively promote company products, and oversee client stock, sales, and overall distribution performance.
  • Problem Resolution & Support: Efficiently address and resolve client complaints and issues. Provide proactive support to customers in enhancing product display, maintaining accurate sales records, managing customer databases, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis: Regularly track and update client information including sales progress and area details. Prepare and submit detailed periodical reports on sales performance, weekly stock and shop information, competitive product surveys, and client insights.
  • Strategic Client Partnership: Offer data-driven management suggestions to clients based on quantitative analysis. Assist clients in monitoring, managing, and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively under pressure to meet sales targets and contribute positively to the overall team’s success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in a sales or market development role.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Resilience: Proven ability to work effectively and thrive under pressure.
