Requirements:
- Be a Citizen of Kenya
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (Plain)
- Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
- At least one (1) year of relevant work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Punctuality, honesty, and reliability
Responsibilities:
- Register patients for health services, including SHA/insurance schemes
- Verify patient details and ensure accurate data entry into hospital systems
- Maintain and update patient records, files, and registers in an orderly manner
- Retrieve and file patient records as needed by health service providers
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information
- Handle general inquiries and direct clients to the right departments
- Maintain a professional and courteous reception environment
- Prepare, sort, and distribute official correspondence, files, and documents
- Type and format letters, memos, reports, and other official documents
- Assist in filing, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents
- Enter patient, service, and insurance data accurately into electronic or manual systems
- Assist in compiling daily, weekly, and monthly service and insurance reports
- Reconcile service utilization data with insurance registration records
