Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and update menus ensuring cost-effectiveness and culinary variety.
- Oversee meal preparation, portion control, and food presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
- Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a harmonious, efficient kitchen environment.
- Enforce strict hygiene, food safety (HACCP), and sanitation standards within the kitchen area.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, minimize food wastage, and place accurate orders for fresh supplies.
Key Requirements:
- Professional certification or diploma in Culinary Arts or Food Production from a recognized institution.
- Solid experience working as a Chef or Sous Chef in a commercial kitchen or busy restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of local and popular international cuisines, food pairings, and pastry work.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high-volume orders under pressure.
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety regulations and stock management.
