Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the point-of-sale (POS) station, accurately ringing up food and beverage orders.
- Process payments securely via cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile money transactions (e.g., M-Pesa).
- Issue precise receipts, refunds, and correct change to customers.
- Reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of every shift, accounting for any discrepancies.
- Assist in greeting guests and directing them to tables or answering basic inquiries about the bill.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting, Front Office, or a related field.
- Prior experience working as a hotel or restaurant cashier handling high cash volumes.
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Proficiency in operating modern POS systems and handling digital payment gateways.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills and a welcoming demeanor.
