The Role
Business Growth
- Market and promote banking products
- Build and maintain strong referral networks
- Recruit and onboard new clients
- Cross-sell financial products
- Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio
- Conduct market surveys and drive promotional campaigns
Loan Origination & Processing
- Analyze clients’ financial status
- Process loan applications efficiently
- Assess collateral adequacy
- Review loan agreements
- Prepare and submit required reports
Customer Relationship Management
- Handle client inquiries professionally
- Provide suitable financial solutions
- Resolve complaints effectively
- Organize client engagement forums
- Maintain positive relationships within the community
Delinquency Management
- Ensure timely loan repayments
- Negotiate repayment plans with delinquent clients
- Clearly communicate loan terms and conditions
Compliance
- Implement AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies
- Ensure adherence to KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements
- Follow all organizational policies and guidelines
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial services (Microfinance Bank experience preferred)
- Minimum KCSE grade C
- Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Economics, or a Business-related field from a recognized institution
- Strong skills in financial statement analysis and risk assessment
- Proficiency in loan underwriting and product proposal development
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage effectively with senior decision-makers and diverse market segments
- Strong knowledge of personal and SME banking products and credit processes
- Proven ability in community outreach and engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
