Job Purpose
- To prepare, mix, and serve beverages to guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner, ensuring high standards of hospitality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drink Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Customer Service: Engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and product knowledge; recommend drinks and upsell premium options.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, request replenishments, and ensure proper storage of spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain bar area cleanliness, adhere to food safety standards, and comply with health regulations.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, balance cash drawers, and issue receipts.
- Innovation: Create signature cocktails and contribute to seasonal drink menus.
- Compliance: Adhere to licensing laws, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Mixology.
- Proven experience as a bartender/mixologist in a resort, restaurant, or bar.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
