Guest Service & Customer Engagement

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly, inviting bar atmosphere
  • Take drink orders accurately and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
  • Engage with customers professionally while maintaining excellent service standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests courteously

Beverage Preparation & Service

  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
  • Prepare cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, and specialty drinks efficiently and consistently
  • Ensure proper presentation, portioning, and quality of all drinks before serving
  • Maintain speed and accuracy during peak service hours
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times

 Bar Operations & Maintenance

  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout shifts
  • Ensure all glassware, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Monitor bar setup before service and ensure readiness for operations
  • Maintain hygiene and compliance with health and safety standards

Stock Control & Inventory Management

  • Assist in receiving, storing, and managing bar stock and supplies
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage
  • Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations
  • Ensure proper storage of beverages to maintain quality and prevent loss

Cash Handling & Basic Accounting

  • Accurately process customer bills and payments where required
  • Assist in reconciling daily sales and bar takings
  • Maintain basic records of sales, stock usage, and wastage
  • Ensure proper accountability for all bar transactions

 Quality Control & Compliance

  • Check all drinks for quality, taste, and presentation before serving
  • Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Comply with licensing laws, alcohol regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold brand standards at all times
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Mixology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar bar or hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation techniques
  • Experience in customer service within a bar, hotel, or restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mixology and beverage preparation skills
  • High level of customer service orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
