Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support during laboratory practicals and experiments.
- Prepare, issue and maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards in laboratories.
- Maintain inventory and accurate records of laboratory equipment and consumables.
- Implement routine maintenance and report faulty laboratory equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Applied Sciences or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus).
- At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Registration with the Institute of Science Laboratory Technology Kenya (ISLT) or any other relevant professional body
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge ofthe Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain equipment and observe safety standards.
