Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Virtual Service Provider located in Nairobi County, Kenya. Some work from home is acceptable. The Virtual Service Provider will specialize in one or two key service areas to offer high-quality online services to Palaver Africa’s community members. You are not expected to provide all services listed below, but should excel in your chosen specialization(s).
Key Responsibilities
Choose 1-2 service areas from the following to specialize in:
- Provide graphic design services (logos, branding, social media graphics, marketing materials)
- Offer copywriting services (website copy, blog articles, marketing content, proposals)
- Deliver virtual assistance (administrative support, email management, scheduling, data entry)
- Provide web design and development services for member websites
- Offer social media management and digital marketing services
- Conduct market research and business analysis for community members
- Provide content creation services (videos, podcasts, photography)
- Offer translation services between English, Swahili, and other local languages
- Deliver online tutoring and educational services
- Provide bookkeeping and basic accounting services
- Offer consultation services in various business areas
- Facilitate e-commerce setup and management
- Provide technical support and IT troubleshooting
- Deliver project management services for member initiatives
- Maintain service quality standards and client satisfaction in your chosen specialization(s)
- Coordinate service delivery and manage client relationships within your expertise area
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in your selected service area(s)
- Demonstrated expertise in 1-2 specific digital services
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Client service experience and relationship management abilities
- Reliable internet connection and professional workspace setup
