Role Overview
We’re seeking a creative, detail-driven Video Editor to craft compelling brand stories across campaigns, product launches, corporate communications, internal training, events, and social channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube). You’ll own editing, motion packaging, sound, and color to deliver polished videos that inform, inspire, and build brand equity.

Key Responsibilities
- Editing & Narrative — Cut to scripts/boards, build story arcs, pacing, hooks (first 3–5s), transitions, captions/subtitles.
- Motion Packaging — Create title cards, lower thirds, animated infographics, logo stings & end slates (AE or similar).
- Color & Audio — Color correction/looks/LUTs; dialogue cleanup, SFX/music selection, mix to platform/broadcast specs.
- Multi-Format Delivery — Export 16:9 / 1:1 / 9:16 with correct codecs, bitrates, captions, and safe-area typography.
- Brand Consistency — Maintain visual standards and templates across all corporate & campaign content.
- Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with brand, comms, product, HR, and events teams; refine scripts and shot lists; support quick turns around live events if needed.
- Asset Management — Organize project files, naming/versioning, media libraries (footage, SFX, music, templates).
- Quality & Compliance — Final QC for picture/sound/text; ensure licensing for fonts/music/stock; accessibility (captions).Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3+ years as a Video Editor (agency, in-house brand, media, or production house).
- Portfolio: 1–2 min showreel + 3–5 full pieces (brand/campaign film, corporate/HR/training, event recap, product launch, social).
- Tools (proficient in at least one per line): Editing — Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro; Motion — After Effects (Cinema 4D/Blender is a plus); Design — Photoshop / Illustrator (basic typography/layout); Audio — Audition / Resolve Fairlight (noise reduction, compression, EQ).
- Platform Fluency: Best practices for YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and internal comms screens (timers, lower thirds, safe titles).
- Soft Skills: Ownership mindset, clear communication, time management, ability to handle fast turnarounds.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Delivery: Number of approved edits per week (including aspect-ratio variants & subtitles).
- Quality: Stakeholder satisfaction and revision rate; adherence to brand & technical specs.
- Impact: Completion/retention on key channels; engagement on brand/social; internal comms feedback for training/culture videos.
- Speed: Brief → first cut turnaround; on-time final deliveries for campaign/event milestones.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event recaps, brand/culture films, product explainers, executive messages, or training modules.
- Basic production skills (camera/lighting/audio) and on-site quick edits.
- Accessibility familiarity (open/closed captions, mobile readability, color contrast).
- Graphic Design skills — ability to create on-brand thumbnails, posters, social graphics, and layout templates (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).Optional Screening Questions
