UI/UX Designer (Senior & Mid Levels- Nairobi) Job
Role Overview:
- Design intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for the AEMT portal and dashboards.Â
- Seniors drive design strategy; Mid designers execute detailed screens and user tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research & Personas: Conduct interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries;Â develop personas for aggregators, off-takers, and CLIENT staff.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- thigh-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma or Adobe XD.
- Visual & Interaction Design: Define style guides, component libraries, and ensure consistency across modules.
- Usability Testing: Plan and facilitate testing sessions; collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback; iterate designs.
- Handoff & Collaboration: Prepare design specs, assets, and documentation; collaborate with developers for pixel-perfect implementation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, HCI, or related.
Experience:
- Senior: 5+ years designing web applications or enterprise dashboards.
- Mid: 3+ years in UI/UX roles.
- Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
- Soft Skills: Creativity, empathy, strong communication, and user advocacy.
Core Competencies:
- User-centered mindset, visual aesthetics, prototyping speed, and feedback incorporation.
